I'm going to talk about some people who has been talking during my tedtalk. Maybe it's because they just dont know what they're doing. They just don't know that it's right or wrong or is it right to do something or is it okay to do something at the right time.

Maybe we should start Learning about all these problems.

Last but not least, A good presenter is definitely not a good audience member.

Reflections on TED-Talks

I am here to give a reflection but I could not give a right/correct/acceptable answer if you really want me to give you an answer I really cannot think and reflect upon my mind and thoughts.

So, the reflection will be up as soon as I finish watching all the TED-Talks.

I'm really inspired but also to think that some are good in presenting but they're not good at being an audience.

Nathan: CO2 Emission : I really like the graph and the paintings he drew. (even though it was an overnight work)

The topic was quite interesting (especially his speech).

Allen: Over-population: I really like the infographic and the powerpoint which makes me really think about What Does It Mean to be Human?

Ilya: Russia Low Birth Rate: It is really amazing to hear about this from Russia especially when the country is really so big.

Daniel Liu: It's quite interesting to watch his ted-talk presentation and the way he pulls the audience to really listen his presentation. Overall, It was really great.

Bob: It was really amazing to hear about the aboriginal tribes that are in Taiwan.. and the lost of culture.

Overall, I think that all the presentations were great and I managed to learn many things from their presentations.

CS5 - Newspaper Article

Pet Abuse and animal cruelty rates have risen higher and higher since 2007.

There are at least 300 cases of animal cruelty every year.

In January 2011, there are a number of 82 animal cruelty cases. It may seem little but it actually makes a big difference.

In February 2011, there are a number of 76 animal cruelty cases. It make a difference but not much considered to January.

Last but not least, in March 2011, the animal cruelty cases rose up to 86 cases. The change is really big for a month.

There is ways to deal with animal cruelty. You can call an animal shelter if they could help keep the animal or keep the animal in your home. Also, bringing the animal to the vet is one way to save the animal too.

There are most likely 20 presentations. Till today, only 11 people (I'm included) have presented to the class about this project.

They were ranging from Simolia & Pirates to Dogon Tribe and Boer War to the other parts of Africa.

The pirates from Simolia and Suez Canal was a different perspective. Suez canal was a trading center before the colonization.

The Coltan presentation from another was really a wonderful experience and somehow related to my presentation about "Slave Trade".
He also told ask about miming and "comlumbite ttatailite which is used as a raw material for electronic capacitor.

Kenya which produced tea & Coffee also had wilde beeste which migrates throughout the year. Crocodiles in the Mara River often have wilde beeste as their dinner. The dangers of wild life.. began...

Sierre Loone....
was amazing and the presentation was a reality. There were dance, video and presentation which is very different from the rest.
Diamonds was one of the raw materials found there and it was used to make masks!

Kenya.. the place where music comes to life. It's where European style is mixed with Kenya music.

Rwanda is a kingdom where the Hutus and Tutsi unite. The Germany & Belgium turned the class system of the Hutu-Tutsi relationship in the year, 1918.

The Minority Tutsi are 14%. They are favored over the Hutu who are 84% and were given privileges. They are also given western-style education.

The Tutsi minority are used by Belgians to enforce their rule.

Socialism and Capitalism are economic systems represented in the 19^th century. It influence the European society in different ways.

Socialism is a part of society forms that specifies people by working on their abilities and it is given out as an achievement. Karl Marx came up with Socialism at the end of the 19^th century. Socialism and ventral capitalism are connected in the 19^th century. It states the relation between the economies and the social structures during the 19^th century. Karl Marx and Frederick Engels combined ideas from the French Revolution, made a body of ideas which is called Marxism. Marxism is made up of history, political, economic and philosophical theory. Karl Marx also expressed the ownership of producing wealth by Marxism.

Capitalism is a part of society forms that specifies people by working on their abilities and it is given out as their needs. Social classes is also a part in capitalism. Social classes also represents different living condition, wealth and various conditions.

Workers can work very hard and do the work perfectly but they can never reach a high pay. This is the consequence of Capitalism. The bosses would earn more than they have even though the bosses do not work in the factory for long hours.

For Example , The boss pays the worker to do his job in the factory. The workers make the product and the products were sold to the store by the boss. The stores sell the products more expensive and it’s the profit that the store owner earned. The store owner then pays the factory’s boss the money he earned by selling the product. He keeps the profit he earned if he sells more products than he used to. The boss from the factory also collects the money from the store owner and takes some profit from selling the product to the store owner. In the end, the boss pays the worker some money (not a lot) as there are many workers in the factory. The worker who made and create the product can’t buy the product because it is too expensive.

Mercantilism is an economic theory that increases a nation’s wealth. European and global economies used mercantilism in the zero-sum games. During the mercantilism period, economic asserts are represented by goods like gold, silver and more. It helps to create a balance of trade with other states. The theory of mercantilism states that wealth and monetary asserts are the same.

In my book, I think that Socialism is better as people can have more"freedom" than if they choose Capitalism. People that are not very rich would have a chance to show their hard work and make decisions by themselves. But, it is one's choice to decide which type of economic system is better for them. :)

The mission is to keep a rural family healthy for 4 years. :D

Al Gore's new thinking on the climate crisis

So, after watching this video,

you may find out that Optimism is Belief and Belief is actually new behaviour by people.

New behaviour also mean people doesn't care about citizenship/ democracy.

Climate crisis is rise to the history that is presented to us. It costs us yo have military conflict which also means it's a different approach to climate change. Religion is a part too.

Air pollution, water pollution and waste pollution are the biggest problems of Global Issues in the world. Acid rain is one of the problems of global issues too.

Also, Earth and Venus has the same size and carbon but the carbon in Venus is in the atmosphere.

People has no sense of emergency for global warming. ((:

Are we really Cyborgs?

I remember watching this one day during our advisory.

So Cyborgs?

We rely on technology to make our communications. There was no technology before this happens. Technology is what makes humans change from no technology to a MUST technology concept.

It may seems weird. 90% of my friends has at least a computer/laptop.

Also, 99% of my friends/those whom I know has Facebook. Is this the Wonders of Technology?

Technology makes me think of Being stuck at home EVERYDAY, staring into the computer screen just to talk to your friend is not how communication works.

So, are we really Cyborgs? I think we are. D:
